About Us
Isle of Lights was formed in 1993 as a not-for-profit organization with the vision to create a Christmas lighting display in Winfield's beautiful Island Park. Every year since, new displays have been added to the park. Money for new displays and expenses comes from gate donations, private and business donations, memorials as well as grants from Winfield Convention and Tourism.
Winfield Isle of Lights continues to be unique in that it is truly a non-profit organization with no paid employees. All of the displays are put together by volunteers. Each night the booth is filled by volunteers. The Board of Directors are also volunteers. The City of Winfield is instrumental in so many ways to the success of the project.
Isle of Lights opens yearly on the third Sunday of November and remains open until December 30.

Isle of Lights Goes Green!
The Board of Directors for “Isle of Lights” is taking a giant step into new technology and the Green movement. We are starting the long process of changing all the Christmas Display lights to LED. While this will be an ongoing process for many years to come, the first step for us will be two animated Christmas displays. One will be a 60 foot Christmas tree, the second will be several smaller trees with chasing arches. All of these lights will be synchronized to music. We are really looking forward to these new displays and how much energy we will be saving by moving to LEDs.
